James Hendler recognized for work in AI and government

James Hendler (Tetherless World Professor of Computer, Web, and Cognitive Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) was named a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration, recognizing his expertise in artificial intelligence and government. Professor Hendler’s research with the NS-CTA has included extracting knowledge from semantically constructed information and social networks, and using semantic relationships to preserve quality of information.
